AFLORA at Frazier History Museum
WHEN: THROUGH MARCH 2026
Aflora, which means to flourish, is an exhibition at downtown’s Frazier History Museum, in partnership with La Casita Center. It features artwork by seventeen Latinx artists. While Aflora has been on display at other local museums, this installation features all new artworks and several new artists. Aflora is more than an exhibition, it is a testament to the power of the Latinx community.
Secrets of Louisville Nulu

Experience Louisville’s story one bite at a time. This tour offers a delicious introduction to the quintessential foods and drinks that define both Louisville and Kentucky, from the foothills of Appalachia to the glitz and glamour of Prohibition-era Louisville. Stroll through the trendy NuLu and historic Butchertown neighborhoods while sampling dishes from six unique stops, and learn how Louisville’s heritage and history have shaped these iconic foods.

A short play interwoven with Music, Dance, and Spoken Word, written by Rheonna Thornton and Nipsey Green and directed by LaShondra Hood – a powerful celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Experience a vibrant community showcase in The Kentucky Center lobby featuring local vendors, visual art, and live performances, followed by an unforgettable evening in Whitney Hall.
