Louisville Taco Beer & Tequila Festival
WHEN: MAY 30 | 11:00am-8:00pm
Everything you need in one festival! Join us at Mellwood Arts Center on May 30, when the region’s best taquerias and taco trucks will come together to showcase the best tacos! There will be live entertainment and games, multiple margarita bars, a churros and chocolate pavilion, guacamole pavilion, craft beer and wine, and more. $300 will be awarded to the vendor chosen as the “Best Taco!” This event is for all ages, but you must be 21+ to drink alcohol.
LIBA Buy Local Fair 2026
WHEN: SUNDAY, MAY 31 | 12-6 PM
Join us May 31 in the Fan Zone at Lynn Family Stadium for the 2026 Buy Local Fair, presented by LIBA and featuring local and independent businesses, including food and drink vendors, artists and makers, services and more! The mission of the Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) is to cultivate the unique community character of the Metro Louisville area by promoting locally-owned, independent businesses and to educate citizens on the value of purchasing locally.
We Will Rise! Kentucky’s Black Artisans and the Civil War

While their handcrafted work may not survive, their stories do. Step into a hidden chapter of Kentucky history and meet the Black artisans—both free and enslaved—who fought for the Union during the Civil War. This exhibition invites you to reflect on how their craftsmanship, courage, and patriotic determination helped shape Kentucky and the nation.
