AFLORA at Frazier History Museum
WHEN: THROUGH MARCH 2026
Aflora, which means to flourish, is an exhibition at downtown’s Frazier History Museum, in partnership with La Casita Center. It features artwork by seventeen Latinx artists. While Aflora has been on display at other local museums, this installation features all new artworks and several new artists. Aflora is more than an exhibition, it is a testament to the power of the Latinx community.

Their celebrated discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts and has generated half-a-billion streams. Their new album, For The People, is an expression of humanity at a time of relentless dehumanization and a declaration of solidarity in an age of disunion.
We Will Rise! Kentucky’s Black Artisans and the Civil War

While their handcrafted work may not survive, their stories do. Step into a hidden chapter of Kentucky history and meet the Black artisans—both free and enslaved—who fought for the Union during the Civil War. This exhibition invites you to reflect on how their craftsmanship, courage, and patriotic determination helped shape Kentucky and the nation.
